About Letterpress Paper

Legion Paper stocks more than 100 brands and over 3,000 papers. Letterpress printers need only a small portion of them.

That's the reason this site exists. To cut through the noise and let you find what you need, as quickly as possible.

Why these papers

Every paper here earns its place one of two ways. Either it takes a deep impression and comes back for more, or it does something alongside the press that cotton can't: a color range you won't find elsewhere, a pearlescent face, a black that stays black down in the bite, real wood veneer.

Who we are

Letterpresspaper.com is part of Legion Paper, which supplies fine art, decorative and specialty papers across North America. More than 100 brands, over 3,000 papers, created with mills that have been at it for centuries, a few of them since before the United States existed.

Finding paper worth selling is the whole job, and we've been at it long enough to be picky about it.

We keep offices on both coasts and ship from California and Massachusetts.

If you need more than this

Plenty of other papers letterpress beautifully. Hundreds more colors, and a good deal more cotton, sit on Legion's shelves and sell by the carton to the trade. If you print at that scale, tell us what you're after and we'll either set you up or point you to a reseller near you.
