Created in Italy by Cartiere Magnani exclusively for Legion Paper, Arturo Fine Stationery is our most popular line for our letterpress and stationery clients.  These mouldmade papers have a soft, luxurious feel made possible by Magnani's proprietary "corona" felt.

Arturo is one of the most complete lines of fine stationery available today. The range includes eight subtle colors in 32 sizes of deckled edge writing sheets, single cards, folded cards, squares and matching envelopes. 

Cards are available in eight shades: White, Softwhite, Buttercream, Celadon, Gray, Lavender, Pale Blue, and Pale Pink.  Corresponding envelopes are available for each card.  

Cartiere Magnani was founded in 1404.  Among their customers have been many of Europe's reigning families and governments. Other notable customers have included Napoleon Bonaparte, who selected the mill to produce a special watermarked paper for the announcement of his wedding with Maria Luisa D' Austria. (The original mould is still held at the mill.)
