Marbled in France on an ingres or bond paper base stock. The wonderful patterns of these papers originate from the 15th and 16th centuries when marbling was first invented in Persia.  Centuries later, the French perfected the process and used it extensively in the 18th and 19th centuries for endleafs and outer bindings of books.

French Marbles make wonderful envelope liners, embellishments and gift wrap.

These papers are also available online at New York Central and Dolphin Paper
